Empty bottles are recycled by consumers around the world and collected through:

Solid Waste Districts (Cities, Counties, Villages, etc.)
Governmental Deposit Legislation in the U.S. or other countries.
Private waste management companies
 

Bottles are Sorted, Ground and Washed

Washed flake is then optically sorted again to remove any remaining color bodies to produce a clean post consumer flake for further processing.
